Woodhead view, hotel in Cumbernauld

Offering a garden and garden view, Woodhead view is located in Kirkintilloch, 14 km from Glasgow Botanic Gardens and 14 km from Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.

A lovely cottage in quiet location despite being near a main road. Secure parking and a wee garden round the property. which is inside a town park. It was very well equipped and lots of lovely products in the bathroom. Also an amazing bar and generous invitations to help ourselves. The beds were large and comfortable and the shower was amazing. We were very pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation. To top it all, the great Malkie Hannah's chanter was fixed to the wall!

I was 'en route'. The place was very close to the route! It's not the Ritz, but It had everything I needed: comfortable beds, things functional not luxurious, with food nearby.at the Black Bull (moderate portions but with proper chips)

It was in a conservation village, quaint and small but had sufficient parking. Compact, clean n tidy room with servicing done each day. The housekeeping services did a great job, refreshing the room each day with supplies. Nice place and good value for the price paid.

Had not visited Cumbernauld Village for 40 yrs. Was very pleased how the Village had progressed during that period unlike the New Town which desperately needs investment. Will definitely visit again.
