I stayed in Stan's place for several visits, totalling 8 nights, while working in the local area. After trying several other properties in and around Malmesbury, I can safely say this cottage was my best experience by far.
The property was always clean, and had all the required amenities I'd expect - and the check-in and out procedures were straightforward. The location of the property is very convenient, with plenty of shops, restaurants, cafés, and historical sites within walking distance. I found the hosts to be always communicative and courteous, and I'd say the price is very reasonable for such an outstanding cottage.
Overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others travelling for work or leisure!

Breakfast was croissants, home made jam, Greek yoghurt, miracle, fresh blueberries, orange juice. Good quality. Central location. The house was exquisite - a blend of old works charm, fresh decor and modern technology but the best thing was all the thoughtfulness from quality bedding to the chocolates hidden in the towels. The room was exceptional, spacious, clean and so well equipped 100% luxury. Lovely bathroom with the lovely touch of a basket of toiletries to use if needed. The breakfast goods provided surpassed some hotels I have stayed in, excellent choices. The outside seating area is the icing on the cake. I would definitely stay here again.

Spacious, fabulous looking, luxurious room and bathroom, just like a country house even though I wasn’t in the main house (room 121). My evening meal was delicious and service in the restaurant was excellent.
Spacious, warm and comfortable cottage with a home-from-home feel, and so lovely to have freshly baked cookies and a bottle of Prosecco for our arrival.
Worth mentioning that there is a possibly unique pub in the village: it has a restaurant serving a solely vegan menu. There are also lots of other great traditional pubs in the neighbourhood to choose from!
