The location was lovely and peaceful with the beach just a few minutes walk away down the lane, a fish and chip shop (take-away only) and two pubs just around the corner. Charmouth is a lovely village and within easy reach of Lyme Regis which is just a couple of miles away. The room was exceptionally clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was generally very good.
Location was amazing & only a short walk from the beach. Breakfast being provided was a lovely touch & loved sitting out to eat breakfast with the spectacular views. We loved The Retreat & how clever the space had been used. Bed was super comfy & nice to have a sofa to use too. Felt very homely & welcoming, peaceful & quiet & found it easy to relax there.
The name 'Little Retreat' describes it perfectly. A very secluded place for a calm and relaxing break. Lovely breakfasts were provided and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. The outside table and chairs were perfect for relaxing and looking at the lovely view.
This was lovley cottage and the owners were very good ...as the owners know we was not happy as in details was private pool. ..been changed now and was not told on...it behind a hotel the pool u have to book ...suppose our disappointment about pool saying own private pool ...spoilt it but sun was out so had lovley few days ...great place to stay to see area and plenty of room for 4

Every thing about the retreat I loved. The location, peaceful, beautiful view. Well presented self contained accommodation with breakfast in the fridge. Microwave to cook a little pasta for dinner, kettle, toaster, dish washer. It was fantastic
The Retreat was the perfect place for a trip away in Charmouth. The space was clean and comfortable with everything we could of wanted. We were welcomed warmly by Ruth and had a wonderfully relaxing stay.
Ideally located for the popular Dorset Towns, villages and beaches of the Dorset Coast. Easy walk to the beach and heritage Centre, fossil and Jewellery shops of Charmouth. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order.,very friendly hosts. On site carpark. Convenient to 2 village pubs and chip shop.
Westgate is a perfect retreat in an idyllic location. It's a stylish home which is luxurious and fitted out to a high specification.
It's perfectly located for exploring the surrounding areas and is a 25min walk down to Charmouth beachfront (once you cross the main road!)
