A recently converted barn, with two good size bedrooms. Excellently fitted out with very good quality furniture and fittings. Good central heating, Nice soft carpets, a comfortable living room to hang out in with a big TV, and and exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. The host thoughtfully provided a good selection of food already in the fridge (eggs, bread, yoghurt, jam etc) so that was a few day's breakfast sorted. It's set back from the main house so private enough, and close enough the middle of town, so it's a short walk to the shops, and of course the pubs if that's your thing. And there's a huge garden for the kids to yomp around in. Really very good, and I hope to stay again.

This is a fabulous large comfortable home, well equipped with everything you could want. We were racing at Castle Combe circuit for which the property is ideally located just a few minutes drive away. There are plenty of nice pubs close by for food. We found everything exceeded our expectations, the beds were super comfy, the showers were good, plenty of towels, toilet roll, soap etc provided, even a nespresso machine and pods which was a nice touch. We will definitely book again.

Our stay at Manor House was a magical experience. The hotel truly feels like you’ve gone back in time, living in a traditional British house. The interior is stunning, and the food is amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, making our two-day stay even more enjoyable. And to top it all off, the village surrounding the hotel is absolutely charming.
Beautiful quiet room in an annex of the main building, with a luxurious interior and brand new bathroom. The restaurant is very cosy and offers wonderful food, the staff is superfriendly and very helpful.

It was the best decision to stay at The Old Library! The apartment had an individual pretty style. We had all what we needed. The bed was super comfortable, the living room was cosy, bathroom was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything was perfect and much better than we expected. Rowena was extremly helpful, kind and friendly. The village was short walk away. I can highly recommend it!
Very nice, beautiful place. Surrounded by nature. The peacocks are the stars. Rowena is very nice, she even dropped us at the village bus stop. You can see the sky while sleeping from the rooftop bedroom. I felt peaceful and happy. Highly recommended. Thank you for everything Rowena.
Amazing retreat, stunning gardens, all in the picturesque Castle Combe village. The entire property will sweep you off your feet! Amazing history, great attention to details and an overall atmosphere like in a fairytales.
