Stonehenge Cottages are in the idyllic English village of Lower Woodford just 15 minutes to Salisbury and 6-7 minutes to Stonehenge. When we walked in as weary travelers we were reenergized by the charming and beautifully decorated executive cottage. Everything was supplied. Everything! For the US travelers you had every USB port you could eat at your because, W/D combo, perfectly acquitted kitchen, entertainment, books, fluffy pillows, warm towels all lit by flickering candlelight and serenaded by Alexa’s classical music channel. It felt like home only 4000 miles away. I would have booked longer than three days if I’d only known how wonderful it is.
Bonus: I highly recommend choosing the breakfast pantry/basket option. I won’t spoil the delicious surprises.

After a 9 hour drive from Scotland we arrived. Sadly we weren't able to make a holiday stay out of the house and village as we arrived late and had to leave early in the morning. We made Andrew our host aware of this and he couldn't have been more accommodating. He made sure we could get in the house in his absence and left us a very helpful welcome pack. The house was very clean and tidy and very comfortable. It felt like we were in any of our own homes which after a very long drive was exactly what we needed. We have no issues at all with our stay and will be coming back for our trip next year if the dates are available.

Our groups of friends had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Bridge Farmhouse. The bedrooms are all ensuite which was a big ‘plus’. The common areas are all very spacious apart from the kitchen which is a little small although I have to say very well equipped to cater for our group of 14 people. The farmhouse grounds are quite extensive and attractive with a river at the edge of the grounds. Another bonus was the location which was about a 20 walk from Salisbury. I was initially concerned about the payment arrangements as they do not accept credit cards and money had to be transferred directly to a bank account which usually rings alarm bells with me. However, I needn’t have worried. All was fine. Communication via email with Ido was excellent and he was very responsive. I would definitely recommend Bridge Farmhouse.

The accommodation is in a quiet location but within walking distance of Fordingbridge. The kitchen was well equipped and all the little thoughts on how to make the accommodation user friendly with dogs was fantastic.

The friendly nature of the staff. Nothing to much trouble. Nice walks around a very pretty village. A good bar/pub attached. Very good food in the pub, if a little expensive. Very good breakfast. Included a Bloody Mary.
The inn was lovely. The staff were so friendly and the room was exactly as pictured - there was even a smart TV and extra amenities in the cupboard that made things more comfortable. Definitely worth including this information!
The bed was amazingly comfortable and the village was so pretty. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back!
