Plenty of beds for the 11 of us that stayed there. 2 full bathrooms plus one toilet with sink. There were tea/coffee supplies, fresh milk, fresh bread, biscuits, cereals etc when we arrived. Communication with the owner was exceptional. Easy walk from the train station and close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Heating worked well and lots of hot water. Fridge/Freezer plus small fridge in the kitchen, very handy for large groups.

Everything, it was a fantastic hotel, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds, it was all just amazing!! Even when you register and download the Rewards app we got a free drink! Lovely touch and then bonus points with all spending . I would highly recommend Village Hotels great Value for money!!! All the staff were friendly and accommodating !! This is all based on the Basingstoke Village Hotel
It’s really modern and clean. Our room was quite small but we still had plenty of space to move around. Shower was great!
As for the pub and grill, the food was good but it took too longer for food to get to the table.
The manager who was working over the weekend was absolutely fantastic! She made sure to check on every group in the restaurant and when I asked if someone could fill up my water bottle, she did it herself, even adding ice, lemon and mint.
If I had to stay in Basingstoke again, I’d definitely stay at the Village again.
Clean, everything you need and a lovely snack box inc croissants, brownie, luxury biscuits, cereals hot choc tea coffee and fresh milk and butter in the fridge jams and marmite if you buy bread and want toast there's also a toaster and microwave. Bed was comfortable easy parking and access to room.
Cute, warm, clean and perfect location, ideal base for a romantic night away with my girlfriend Zoe. Good pubs and restaurants on the same road in a lovely village, we will be back
Easy to access property, and had everything we needed for a place to stay for the night. The bed was comfortable, the room was warm and cosy. We especially liked the shower, a real luxury with large shower head. Plenty of soft towels and I liked the soft throw over the bed too. Very clean and in a quiet location, despite being only minutes away from the centre.
What an amazing experience. The room was exceptional with attention to detail second to none. Fridge toaster, microwave milk breakfast box things that we didn't expect made the last minute bargain stay a brilliant.. Probably one of the best places I have stayed and I have stayed at alot tThe owners spent time chatting to us by the car before we left and nothing felt rushed even when we left slightly lat. I will check out "The Village" gym as suggested.
For a relaxing and wonderful experience Oakley Hall exceeded my expectations. Located in beautiful Hampshire countryside, this elegant Hotel, was relaxing but with an excellent dining experience. The Hotel team were polite and efficient, the Glasshouse restaurant has an excellent menu range, cooked to a fantastic quality. Pretty walks, and the nearby village of Overton gives you an interesting range of independent shops to browse in. I would highly recommend Oakley Hall Hotel.
