An amazing little property in the heart of ballater. Well equipped and so cosy in the middle of December. Lovely little touch of Christmas tree to make it feel festive. Bed very comfy and cosy. Hot tub a lovely addition. Anna was lovely - super helpful and chatty - she popped in to help when the outdoor lights tripped a fuse during the wild weather and also on checkout.

Property was immaculate! So clean and inviting with the cosy decor/lighting. Hosts were welcoming and helpful upon arrival. Loved the location, peaceful views and felt really at ease as soon as we arrived. The cabin is well designed and has everything you need for a fuss free, eco friendly stay. Will definitely be back!

Everything! What a fabulous property. The owners have thought of everything. Furnished to a very high standard and super clean. We were two families - four adults and three kids and everyone loved it. Plenty space for everyone and v cosy with the fire. We can't wait to go back.

Village of Ballater was beautiful
It was situated centrally for travel around the local area. Placed inside a small little Scottish village which was scenic and beautiful. The hotel itself was fabulous and I was very welcomed from the minute I stepped to the front door. It made a huge part of my holiday.

A great location and short walk to the village for walking around and access to restaurants and cafes. The B&B is in a large old house\inn, a little dated unless that is your preference for something a little more steeped in history vs, a little more up to date and modern amenities. Breakfast was excellent including a made to order hot breakfast if desired.
The hotel was conveniently located in the centre of Ballater. There was a view of the village green from the window. It was quiet. Wine and sparkling water gave a nice touch on arrival. Both the bedroom and the bathroom were quite large.
The location is great - walking distance from the centre of the village.
It was very clean.
There is good WiFi.
We didn't need it, but it's wheelchair accessible (although not for cooking, so you'd need to eat out or have someone with you).
Ballater is a little luxury village right next to Balmoral Castle. Lovely downtown with beautiful houses, great shops and restaurants. St. Andrews house is itself a small castle. The owners live downstairs and upstairs there’s some rooms plus and apartment rented out for guests. We spent 2 nights in the apartment, it was very nice and specious, clean and had everything we needed. Easy parking in front of the building. Natalie and Tony was very welcoming and made us breakfast freshly every morning. We felt like royals.
Amazing breakfast, wonderfully helpful people, luxurious and very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, quiet, nice grounds, short walk into the heart of the village. Highly recommended.
