Perfect for families, groups, or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while traveling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, free-standing mansions – travelers can cook, lounge, and explore at their own pace. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The hotel was in a good area, parking was free, and it had a pub & grill inside, a gym & Starbucks. It was easy to check in and out. The staff were also very friendly & helpful. We will definitely stay at a Village hotel again.
My second visit in 6 months. This time for seven days. And this time in Summer. The staff here are excellent. Many thanks to Jackie and Anna on reception. There are many others I also had interactions with. My room was on the 1st floor overlooking the car park and roads leading out of the Village. I used the gym once but I fell ill for my stay so I asked for a refund. Breakfast was a busy time everyday; lots of people staying here. Thanks to Lauren and Diane on Breakfast duties.
We chose the Village because we were going to see Coldplay at the Etihad Stadium. The tram stop and line was nearby and frequent. It was the perfect location for our needs. The Hotel had much to commend it; great facilities, friendly staff, clean, speedy checkin/out.
In the immediate area were many fast food outlets, pubs, cinema and bowling alley too.
Reason we like booking the Village hotel is for a number for reason. You can always guarantee parking, breakfast options with Starbucks or which is a great alternative if on the go or with families. Finally you always guarantee the hotel will be clean and well presented along with additional facilities.
I’v stayed at the village before about 3 years ago & when I walked in I was so surprised to see how much it had changed it was amazing what there have gone the transformation was amazing ,I watched the football there & I liked the idea they had seating like you where at the cinema lovely lovely layout
I love the location and the rooms are always modern and clean. The facilities are fantastic. My son and his partner used the gym and pool and they loved the in-house Starbucks was a bonus. I always stay at the Village when I visit family in Ashton Under Lyne as it’s the best hotel in the area. Planning my next visit and I will be booking in-advance to get a good price for the room. I always book with booking.com and pay at the property which is handy if your planing and saving to visit family in the future.
Very disappointed that when checking in we were charged an additional £5 for parking on their carpark after paying £81 for the room. When we challenged the £5 we were told well either that or get a £60 fine. We usually stay at the Travelodge but with the cost being only a couple of pounds over their cost to stay there we thought we would upgrade and stay at the Village on his occasion but not again. Why are the Village charging customers who stay in the Hotel overnight a parking fee of £5 Monday to Thursday but weekend free.
