Lovely little apartment perfect for our family of four. Centrally located in the village (which Diane have much going on, but is scenic). Information was clear and easy to follow. Very welcoming and clean. Reasonably equipped.
This is not a breakfast providing accommodation but breakfast can be got a few minutes away.
The shabby chic of the hidden, bijou accommodation. It provides a good impression of an artists room.
Its location could not be better as the lane joins the main drag within a minute on foot.
The little local car park was free and just two minutes from the entry to the apartment. It's as good a solution that one can get in the old village.
Everything! I can only confirm what most other reviews have said. This is exactly what a great chambre-d'hote should be like. Not jet-set luxury, but homey, clean, tastefully decorated and furnished, and attention to detail that I've rarely seen in any other accommodation. Add to that a friendly and interesting host, good breakfast, and central location, and it made the visit to Semur-en-Auxois worth the trip just for the accommodation itself.
It is a beautiful very old building transferred into a hotel, with a very nice renovation. We liked the family style, but very professional service and very welcoming attitude. Room was great, breakfast was good. And location was right in the old center of the village
We had a wonderful stay! It was a quaint village and loved the morning we spent there. We only had a night here, but it was a memorable moment to wake up to such a lovely view. The host was very accommodating and gave us a very friendly introduction.
