The location of Boutique Hötel is it's main advantage: a welcome retreat. On a small main street - and so central for everything - this was much appreciated during the poor, rainy weather I experienced in St Jean. The double room was smallish (like many French hotels) but perfectly adequate, and with a lovely bathroom. It had a window looking right down on the street - even onto diners' plates, they were so close!
The hotel was perfectly positioned to the station and the wee village of was a real gem to wander around. Beautiful market in the town on a Tuesday which was totally unexpected and was stocked with everything you could want food wise. Beautiful beach and gorgeous St John the Baptist church.
Very convenient location - opposite the train station, and 2 minute walk from historic village centre. Modern bathroom fittings. Spacious bedroom -room for 2 people plus luggage. Appreciated the elevator. Friendly staff, who spoke good English. appreciated the tea/coffee making facilities.

Price, good value for money
This hotel is absolutely beautiful. It is like stepping back into the past, into a historical mansion. The bathroom in the bedroom was as big as the bedroom itself. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff, and free tea and coffee facilities in the lobby. Walking distance to the beach, and far enough away from the hubbub for a nice night's sleep.
Absolutely great location! Easy to go to visit the beatiful small villages nearby, to go to hiking or to go to Bayonne. The place is situated in a calm area and there is a place for to park a car.
