This is a very big house, which has two separate appartments in side, The kitchen is fully equipped with washing machine and dish washer. You can sit outside in the courtyard. It is in a little village. The neariest supermarkt is 4km away, which wasn't a problem for us, as we were sightseeing every day. Great central place to visit Colmar, Basel, Freiburg and Strassbourg.

The position was perfect to visit the " route des vins", close enough to the typical villages in our to-do list.
When you arrive at the castle, the outside is astonishing.
Perfect retreat with all facilities thought of. Set in the grounds of a large gite with its own vineyard. Comfortable bed and large spacious living area.
Rouffach centre is close by with a gothic feel with a handful of quality restaurants. Great for a couple days exploring the wine region of Alsace area or a stop over like we did.

We didn't used the souna and the.pool was closed but there was a fun lounge with all you need to have a nice time with family and friends. The hosts are super nice and the breakfast is above and beyond !
It is not in the center, it is in quite residential area, from there you can easily drive the amazing Route De Vins to see the beautiful Alsace villages !
