The host was wonderful! She met us at the property to explain everything and give us the key. There were 2 parking spots to use and she walked us around to show where they were. The place was so comfortable and a great location! I will come back! She even left us a bottle of amazing wine to welcome us!

Lovely apartment, good facilities and the location was a little bit outside of Orleans. Combleax was a quite village next to the Loire and a canal. There was a restaurant next to the river, but you needed to book. We went to a small Cafe/outside bar which served basic food from a limited menu. It was fresh, home made and delicious. We drove to St Jean de Braye for breakfast and found a really nice eat in boulangerie
Location was good, near to Orléans - lovely city to explore. Also, close by is the pretty village of Olivet, and lake/swimming area at Base de loisirs de l'Île Charlemagne. Further afield we enjoyed visiting the Loire Valley & various châteaux. The property itself was well equipped and provided a good base for us - possibly more suited to shorter stays, we stayed for a week. But it was perfectly adequate and suited our needs.

Nothing more than what is needed. Clean, comfortable & very helpful staff. Don't come here if you're looking for luxury but if all you want is a comfortable bed & a good shower followed by an adequate breakfast, this is a great deal. Location is very good too.

Easy to find
The rooms and hotel were like "Belle Epoque" in their decoration and design. The bathrooms were modern with a hint old fashioned luxury. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect. The breakfast settings were wonderful for the type of hotel. The roof terrace was a good place to enjoy a wine while looking over the rooftops and cathedral although a struggle to maintain a tray over 4 floors. Excellent French breakfast.
The apt is quite spacious, not cluttered with eye-pleasing IKEA rubbish that only gets in the way . It has shelves and a wardrobe where you can put your stuff. The kitchenette is well furnished, you can make your meal as you like,heat it up in a microwave oven or use a four burner cooker ( it is a rare luxury). Also, there is a table that can confortably seat four persons, and it also an additional asset of the place. If it gets hot there is a very good fan to cool you down. And last but not least, the host - friendly, responsive and helpful.
Really stunning location overlooking the Loire.
The rooms are decorated and equipped to the highest standards with very comfortable beds and luxurious sheets and towels.
Chef and host, Patrice, is simply charming - and a very good chef too! Dinner was fantastic- but be careful as it is also very popular- and a wonderful atmosphere.
Breakfast was perfect with local cherries, cheeses, preserves, bread and pastries - everything was just SO GOOD!
