Plenty of space for relaxing after a day out with a kitchen area and necessary utensils as well as large flat screen TV with satellite channels. Large, comfy bed. Space for our car directly outside on the quiet road. Bathroom a little tight but not a problem for one at a time. About a 15 minute walk into the old town centre for restaurants/bars etc. It felt perfectly safe even late at night.

Lovely grounds and settings. Lovely little stream/ river running through the grounds also. Hosts were lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This was a great overnight stay for 4 adults and 2 children. Lots of space, sadly, traffic delays meang we arrived too latr to rnjoh ghe outdoor space.The owners instruction for locating the property were excellent.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The hotel is adjacent to the railway station but was very quiet (other than the sparrows outside). The reception was very helpful and the room comfortable. Parking was free overnight or all day if you can find a spot in the road outside. Plenty of restaurants locally and in the medieval village. Worthy of noting that most restaurants close on Monday’s.
If you can - and want to - afford it, this is simply an amazing, lovely place. A beautiful chateau in a well-maintained park. Absolutely friendly and helpful staff throughout. Just that great feeling of sheer luxury. Further amplified by our excellent dinner at their Michelin star restaurant La Chapelle - again a super friendly and impeccable staff and a creative cuisine.
