The place is quite not very far from the city center. The location is really nice which also includes a large swimming pool. The host speaks English and Italian (as far as I know) and she has been really nice with us. I surely recommend this place for a short or long stay.

Great house with two terraces to enjoy the sun and the superb views on the sea, very well equipped kitchen and overall tastefully decorated. It’s very close to the fantastic sand beaches by car and there is also a small beach in walking distance for an early morning swim. A supermarket and restaurants are close by, too. It would deserve a 10 point rating, if it had air conditioning. We were there in mid July and it was no problem to sleep with open windows and use the provided ventilators, but I imagine it could get warmer to the point where sleeping is difficult.
Mosquitoes were no problem at all, the common pool was large and in good condition.
One should note that flight traffic into Ajaccio passes over Porticcio every now and then. However, due to the vlow frequency it did not prove a real negative point in our opinion.
The check in and check out was very friendly and easy. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone. We stayed at Villa Bougainville for a week and later went on to the Porto Vecchio. In hindsight we should have stayed in Porticcio for two weeks.
