Mazet Leajo is a lovely little cocoon and it felt like our little home for 4 nights.
From Bruno and Caroline warm welcome, simplicity and kindness to the quality and cleanliness of the house, it is a perfect spot to discover this stunning region of France.
Eygalières is just beautiful and there are many nice restaurants and cafes to choose from and enjoy. On Fridays, it is market day in Eygalières so try to stay for that day, it was a pleasure to get some nice fish and veggies and other little goodies there and cook them for dinner on the barbecue that Bruno has in the outside kitchen (which by the way is so beautifully done just like the garden). Thank you also Bruno for the lovely bottle of white wine which went down a treat with our fish.
If you are there on a Sunday, go and see the « pétanque/boules » locals play, it is fun and definitely an authentic experience!
The view of the Alpilles and the village from the old castle at the top of Eygalières is stunning, don’t miss it!
Also when you walk in the streets of Eygalières, which is less than 5 minutes by foot from the Mazet, it feels like time should stop, I think sometimes it does or it did for us, it is the south after all and it is best appreciated at a slow pace as there are so many little details to discover and take pictures of.
If you have not done your homework, Bruno and Caroline will recommend you places to go and visit and you can see that they love their region and love welcoming people.
It is the kind of place you want to return and return and return to, hopefully we will.
Thank you Bruno and Caroline for the wonderful memories we have made in Le Mazet Leajo
À bientôt

A fantastic place to take children. There are so many facilities for them, from a trampoline to a swimming pool, hot tub, play house with their own loungers, swings… and inside there are lovely wooden toys and puzzles, lots of DVDs and child-friendly sofa! Luliana and Pierre are the most conscientious hosts that we have EVER stayed with. The will do anything within their power to make your stay more enjoyable and comfortable. The kitchen is so well kitted out and really we didn’t need to bring half the things we brought with us for the holiday! For a holiday with young children I highly, highly recommend it. There’s everything you need to relax and enjoy your own holiday whilst they have fun! You might see from the map that there’s a fairly busy road beside it, but it’s not easily accessible from the gîte so you don’t have to worry about kids running over to it. Everything to do with the gîte is focussed towards the back garden. The advantage of being on this road is that you can get to towns quickly and easily, and because there’s another building in between, you don’t hear it as much as we thought we would. Plus the master bedroom is at the back of the house!!
There are so many thoughtful touches about the gîte that I can’t list them all, but a perfectly placed parking space in the shade was a life saver with little kids. The last little touch that we loved were the strawberry plants by the back door so the kids could pick their own fruit! Don’t hesitate to go and lie in the hot tub and watch fabulous birds soar above (we saw bee eaters and a bonelli’s eagle) or take a stroll along the old farm’s paths to pick blackberries, or bounce to your heart’s content on the huge trampoline! We’ll be back.
Offering a garden and garden view, Mas de l'air is set in Noves, 11 km from Parc des Expositions Avignon and 19 km from Avignon TGV Train Station.

Our Host, Atifa was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble. And what a cook! Dinner was available if we wished—which we did! Fantastic value and many different dishes. Breakfast was included and again there was so much to choose from—eggs made to order, crepes and pastries. Our room was spacious with a dressing room & ensuite bathroom. A comfortable sitting room also. Can’t recommend this lovely 400 year old farm house stay highly enough.

Beautiful accommodation in a really nice small town. The hosts have thought of almost everything to make your stay comfortable. It was really clean and had a bonus of a downstairs toilet. Ideal for family of 4, maybe a bit tight for two couples. There is also a rental next door if travelling with a larger family group. We stayed for 2 weeks. There is secure off road parking and the house itself feels really safe. The town of Remy which we picked by chance has everything you would want, if a little on the expensive side. It is on the cruise excursion route so expect it to be busy at times, especially on market days. The Van Gogh trail is very interesting and easily accessed from the accommodation. You can walk down into the start of the town in around 7 mins. Small supermarket is around 4 min walk and has a good stock. The tourist office is also near the small supermarket. Lots of restaurants to chose from. Ideal location to visit the beautiful Provence area and even the coast. I have already recommended the accommodation to friends and we hope to go back next year.

I had a very nice stay! The host was very friendly and helpful and the appartment is in a real nice area. Everything you need is there for cooking. A lovely place.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.

This charming hotel in the quaint Provençal village Eygalieres is a true hidden gem. The artistic décor and tranquil atmosphere made for a perfect, intimate retreat. We loved the delicious food, beautifully prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The hotel is wonderfully dog-friendly, and our furry companion was warmly welcomed. The sound of cicadas added to the peaceful ambiance. We can't wait to return to this serene and delightful haven.
The bed was so amazing it was hard
to get up! Very elaborate breakfast with homemade yoghurt, fig jam and apple crumble. Everything felt
luxurious and very well taken care off. The property is vast and beautiful and invites to meander around.
Incredible attention to the smallest details. Welcoming and relaxed hosts who take the time to share great conversations.
One of our best stays ever and an absolute pleasure
Highly recommended!
We had an exceptional stay with Francois and Nathalie, they were amazing hosts. Breakfast was spectacular with different home made options every day. We stayed for a week and loved it. Our room was beautiful with access to the patio, pool is gorgeous. Lovely other guests and such kind hosts including the dog and cats. We loved the village very much, we will be back. Many thanks x
This hotel was so luxurious and beautifully quiet, and as there are so few rooms we felt very special. The staff were extremely welcoming and attentive and the swimming pool and surrounding area were fabulous. The pool was much larger than we were expecting and we loved the sound of running water, caused by the waterfall at the end of the pool. The sun beds were the most comfortable and the largest we had ever been on, and we all had as much shade as we needed.
The Bastide was charming and very luxurious. The kids loved it as it has a pool and a trampoline, and they were able to go pick the eggs from the chicken coop. We got the family room that was very spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, bathroom with bathtub, AC, TV in each room and lovely country style decor. The village was charming with great restaurants that caters for all palates, and an approx 1hour drive to Avignon, Nîmes, Pont du Gard….
We really loved our stay there.
