ALTHOUGH THE NIGHT WAS COLD THERE WAS A WOOD PELLET STOVE BLAZING AWAY WHICH HEATED THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THERE WERE LOTS OF FACILITIES LIKE TOWELS, TOILETRIES, COFFEE,TEAS,JUICE. THE PROPERTY WAS NEAR THE ROUTE WE WERE TAKING BUT IN A QUIET VILLAGE.

The house is big and great. Located in a quiet area and pleasant neighborhood. The view of the surroundings was amazing from each room. It consists of 4 bedrooms with double bed in each one and can host 9 persons for sure. Ideal to gather all the family together for a good holiday.

The hotel's location is excellent for walking to the central part of the city. We walked through the park and onto winding village streets to get to the Cathedral. This is our second time staying at this hotel.
The lady who hosts the place is very kind and the room was very big with a spacious and luxurious bathroom. The breakfast with the other guests was very enjoyable, a good start into the day. The parking in the yard was also very convenient.
The property was well located and quite comfortable. The patio is nice. The washing machine and drying rack were a welcome addition. As mentioned in other reviews, the parking is a bit of a challenge to locate and maneuver in, but it was a welcome benefit. The kitchen was pretty well outfitted. Chartres is a beautiful village - don't miss the evening light shows!
This hotel was a revelation of French hospitality. We were greeted by angels, and it delighted us with the size and historical ambiance of our room. We looked out at the village and Grand Cathedral of Chartes. We are coming back for at least another weeks stay.
Jerome is as great host and speaks enough English to make you feel welcome. Nothing is too much trouble.
The parking is also great and secure in a keypad controlled area.
The rooms are special, nicely decorated, quite big with luxurious feel. Large TV and a fridge. Patio door onto your own patio area. I wish we had booked a few more days😃.
