Perfect chalet in the middle of nowhere with a breathtaking view. I definitely recommend this property, there’s everything you need in the kitchen and lots of plugs. Just one thing you should know, you will need a SUV or a 4 wheel drive vehicle to be able to exit the property during winter as the road is steep. Thank you to Antti for coming to remove the snow from the road for us or else we would have missed our prepaid activity.

Hands down the the nicest place ever. There is beautiful wooden sauna, indoor and outdoor hot tub, and you can barbecues while you soak in the hot water under the stars. Amazing views of frozen lake, where you can go ice swimming, we even tried to cut the ice hole ourselves, but it is more difficult than it looks like. Bunnies and and squirrels can be observed from windows when the sun goes down. Fire place and central heating, we were so cosy even during -26 degrees temperatures hit. Clean, modern, and the hosts were absolute stars, thank you Sanna and Timmo, this stay felt like living in the fairy tale for a few days

The kids loved the loft experience with mezzanine. The temperature was perfect .. it was spacious for the 5 of us. Nice touches including shower products .. the basics and hairdryer. Essential to us as our flight landed at 11pm . The kids loved finding the sleds in the wood shed. They had a great time creating their own sled run.

My husband and I had an amazing stay. Really cosy and quiet. We got to see the northern light from the cabin! No light pollution, great view of the skies! It seems remote but also in 10-15 mins drive from everything we needed. The only thing I would recommend to change- maybe an option to purchase a welcome package with some provisions. We arrived late at night so no chance to go to the shops

Great location. At the same time village-like and conveniently situated in the way from city center to Santa's village. Same bus 8 gets you also to the train station.
Wood heated sauna is fun.
House is old but rather clean and well maintained. Don't expect luxury, but basic needs are covered.
And breakfast set is more than for just one breakfast.

Lovely host, nice coming home to a cosy fire and relaxing atmosphere. Easy walking distance to the supermarket and bus stop. My kids enjoyed the free use of the sleds…even managed to see the Northern lights from our little balcony. Very much enjoyed our stay here.

The most important: total privacy. Very clean and cozy house. Everything is there for cooking and well being. Housekeeper super friendly and helpful. We were there in january and enjoyed the real finnish winter.

We felt like home from the very first moment we entered the villa and Jouni was there to welcome us. It's a very beautiful, well-located and cosy house with everything you can ask for. The house is extremely well-equipped and the beds are comfortable. The sauna is amazing, all 5 of us could fit in there. Incredible views over the frozen river. You can even spot some Northern Lights if you're lucky! The location is superb as all the activities are near but you're still in the middle of nature. We didn't want to leave!
We spent 3 wonderful nights in Somosenranta villa. The house is really cozy and fully furnished, you can find everything you need and even more!
The host has been very helpful and the location, two steps from the frozen river, is simply amazing.
11/10 points for the sauna inside the villa.
