Pablo, the host, went above and beyond to accommodate us. He even made special arrangements so we could bring our car into the plaza on a Sunday so that my 81 yo old mother and her 80 year old friend didn't have to carry their bags to the parking area. The parking area isn't far, he just wanted everything to be extra easy for us.
The apartment is cool, quiet and comfortable, is VERY CLEAN, and is in a great location! It is a few steps off of the main plaza, but we never heard any sounds coming from there. All of the ACs work perfectly and the kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could need to make meals and a great cup of tea or coffee.
Pablo is very generous. Not only did he provide us with wonderful snacks, fruit, treats, wine, coffee and tea but he went above and beyond to answer my endless questions about the history of the building. As a Jew it was very important for me to know, understand and appreciate the history of the building. Pablo and his family have done amazing work to both honor the history and the Jewish people who once occupied Trujillo, and also to protect the remaining artifacts and prevent further appropriation or destruction. Because of Pablo and his family the memory of the Jewish people and their contributions to the area will continue to live and remain available to honor and learn from for generations to come.

This is a rural property a few KMs from town. It is not a luxury hotel but was comfortable, especially if you want a break from the busy towns/cities. A good breakfast was available for a few extra Euros. The host was welcoming.
It was an okay place to stay but we feel the photos in the listing over exaggerated what the hotel was like. The staff were lovely and helpful but we did not see the apparent luxury shown in the photos
Beautiful old mansion, full of books & art. Warm, friendly welcome from Ana. Charming garden. Perfect situation. Ana gave us excellent directions to find the place. We thought it may have a ghost, but after all, any decent palace should have one.

The staff were very helpful, and assisted with parking the car, which was in a car park above the hotel.
After stepping through the red doors from a cobble stone village street, we were ushered into a world of coolness and peace. An impeccably presented studio overlooking a garden retreat filled with floral perfume and bird song… we were completely delighted!
Very spacious house, in the back of a very well tended garden. Private pool. Trujillo, at walking distance, is a gem of a town. The owner and his daughter were very friendly and hospitable.
