The house was great. Plenty of space, nice rooms and bathrooms, well-equiped kitchen, nice space under the roof (big TV - ideal for watching the UEFA championship, ...). Very close to Laga and Laida beach. Great spot to explore Urdaibai and make daitrips to Bilbao, San Sebastian and the Biscaje coast line and countryside. Very friendly neighbours (who also seem to maintain the house) - communication was not that easy since we didn't speak Spanish - but plenty of good will ...

Small windows in bedrooms - good for sleeping. Sierra was very helpful in telling us about the area & where to find supermarket which is in Gernika, 20 mins drive approx. Gernika is a good base to find restaurants. We used the trains from Gernika to get to Bilbao & Bermeo which was easy. You can get a Bakio card which gives you discount on trains & buses.

Quiet and, cosy place with the most stunning view. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The small villages arround are very lovley.
The breakfast was very good with Croissants, Juice and bread.
Although not directly on the Camino it is well worth leaving Deba behind and go on to Mutriku, the village is stunningly situated on the rocks overlooking the sea. Rin Rooms are close to the road and next door to the supermarket, which is very convenient! The automatic chekinn worked perfectly well, but I hate it nevertheless, because it is so unhuman and unpersonal. There are several bars and restaurants so diner is not a problem.
