The views were outstanding all around the property; sea views, Mountain views, towns in the distance, the lights across the mountains on an evening, the tip of the volcano from the back terrace and the property was situated on a beautiful fruit garden with grape vines, orange trees, lemon trees, fig trees, avocado trees and many more. The sounds of semi-rural daily and evening life from the terraces were gorgeous to listen to.
The property was really spacious and had all of the necessary equipment to cook, wash, clean, make coffee, make drinks, relax and watch tv. The sofas were really big and comfortable. The shower facilities were great and I could make use the window to enjoy the sea views whilst I was showering. The house was detached and it was very peaceful so we really felt we had our own piece of the canaries whilst on holiday. The style and decor really made us feel like we were enjoying an authentic Canadian/Spanish experience, it was exactly what we were looking for 10/10.
There was coffee and some herbal tea bags at the property and some water left in the fridge with a lovely chocolate treat. There were fresh towels and spare bed sheets. The locals were all very friendly and even though the landlord was on site most of the time he was occupied with work so we only seen on a few occasions, he was very friendly and appreciative we were staying there. He picked some avocados for us from the back garden and they were delicious!
One thing I would say is that is was very handy to have rented a car for the 11 nights we stayed as it was just outside Icod. I noticed there were buses but it would require some planning to do that. We walked into Icod one night and it took about 30-40 mins down steep hills. 1 hour by car from Santa Cruz, Los Cristianos, Las Américas, Costa Adeje, Pyramids of Güímar, Candelaria. 45 mins to North Airport, Masca.

It is a nicely furnished apartment with a lot of attention to detail. We were welcomed with fruits, fresh flowers and a bottle of wine. A well-stocked supermarket is in the vicinity. The view from the apartment over the orchards and the sea is stunning. Surrounded by orchards. The beds had good firm mattresses and sufficient blankets (as nights can get a bit chilly.) Communication with the host was smooth.

What an amazing stay at a gorgeous place! Suite 85 is truly one of a kind! It was my 8th time to Tenerife (and the first time for my girlfriend) and we couldn't choose a better place to stay than here! The accommodation is modern, private, very quiet and has everything you need (e.g. towels, shampoo and air-conditioning - very helpful in summer!).
You can even see the breathtaking el Teide volcano both from the terrace as well as from inside the plunge pool (which is around 90 cm deep and has a nice seat to sit on). Whilst it is a very steep drive up the final roads to get there you will get used to this drive very quickly.
Our host Vanessa was also amazing! If we needed something she responded quickly and there were lots of small details that made us feel very appreciated as a guest. E.g. a fruit platter converted in chocolate as a welcome gift, a handwritten note on checkout day (with chocolate) thanking us for our stay and on top of that, she even gave us a birthday cake when she saw it was my girlfriends birthday!!! The level of detail and personal care at Suite 85 is amazing, you never see this anywhere else!

I had a wonderful stay in Finca Villa Huerta. The garden is beautiful and well-kept, providing a peaceful setting. The veranda offers a stunning view of the ocean, perfect for relaxing. Incredible friendly host! We felt so comfortable and loved spending a few nights in the house. The view over the banana fields is beautiful and due the microclimate it was super hot! The rooms are nice and clean and we felt like home. We did not have a car but we would definitely recommend to have one :) The walk to the village is very steep...
I highly recommend Oli and Anja to stay with. They are exceptional hosts - polite, attentive and very hospitable. The villa is also very comfy - everything is beautiful and very clean. I definitely will stay with them again next time.

Our stay at Las Villas de Gardel was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable, spacious, and beautiful. We also enjoyed having such a large private balcony which we weren't aware of before arriving! From here we enjoyed being able to look over the ocean and the lovely garden below. In addition, the owners were extremely accommodating, and quick to help us with any questions/needs that we had while we were there. We are very grateful for their hospitality!
