Absolutely critical that all GR130 hikers stop here. They offer cold drinks for a reasonable price- and some snacks! I don’t speak Spanish, but check in was easy. Property is excellent, very authentic rural Canarian villa on the best part of the island! Clean interior with excellent amenities. Note that you must bring food to cook in the place due to the restrictions on this type of property!

We simply didn't make the most of our time at this wonderful little place. Walking the GR130 we arrived at 9pm at night and left at 8am next morning. We made a simple tea in the kitchen and had a wonderful shower and peaceful sleep before heading off. Probably the shortest visit ever at only 11 hours but we loved this place - so peaceful. Would happily go back - and the oranges from the garden were so tasty!!

We enjoyed the location and the views and that walking paths are nearby, as well as the village of Garaffía. The house was very well equipped, the host is very thoughtful and attentive as to what guests need. Some things to eat and drink too.
The location is unrivalled. So peaceful and tranquil. The property was very thoughtfully equipped and we had a bottle of nice red wine on arrival. There were plenty of spare towels and blankets. Also heaters in every room. Plenty of hot water too. Cristina is a real treasure who looked after us all the time, giving information when needed. It was spotlessly clean to the highest level. Because the house is far away from any village the night sky was astounding, so many stars!
Lovely conversion of typical Canarian farm buildings. Off the beaten track so will have to stock up (there is a village bar cafe but only open from Fri-Sun).
But there are numerous paths crossing the village and going up and down. Only 45 mins drive to the observatories if stargazing (but it's also good from the front door).
The host family and their local security (family dogs) are lovely and friendly and we would have stayed longer if we could have.
Comfortable apartment in one of the most beautiful places on the island. Thanks to the location - above the village, there is a great perspective of the ocean and the main trail. From here you will wander further or stay for a few days to experience the silence and beauty of nature.

The location was superb, with fabulous views. The village of SD de Garifia, the old part of which is very attractive (with cafes/bars) is just 1km away. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, and their daily feeding of the canaries in the garden gave rise to a very lively almond tree… The house was beautifully & comfortably furnished.
