The highlight is the pool and outdoor area which are vast and very high quality, perfect for relaxing with family or friends!
The villa itself is spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is functional and has nearly everything you need if you want to cook. The bathrooms are nice and big.
Bermeo is walking distance (10 - 15 mins), where there are a few cafes and restaurants plus some supermarkets if you need to buy food/drinks etc. It is by no means a tourist town but you can easily explore the coast from Bilbao to San Sebastian by car. Bilbao airport is a short drive away (30 mins), there is ample parking at the villa.

The place itself was beautiful; once we were able to shop for supplies as we arrived on a holiday, our stay was very comfortable. The weather was colder than normal so unfortunately did not use outside amenties. We did not stay much in the villa, visited 9 beaches, site from Game of Thrones, visited neighbouring cities/towns in the Basque country.
The hostess is very talkative, very informative, very inspiring. I also had a very cosy room; simple, but with a nice view over the streets of the old part of the village and the room had everything you need (including tea kettle, tea/ coffee, all kinds of toiletries). I would have liked to have stayed a little longer!
Staying here was a magical experience and worth the steep mountain road to reach the hotel. The air is clear and there is absolute peace. Breakfasts are the highlight and we will never forget the wonderful hosts. The kitchen facilities were excellent which meant we could spend the evenings up in our mountain retreat with a glass of wine on the hillside.
Liked the windows (double-paned for decent sound insulation and easy to open for good ventilation on corner apt), excellent hot water, good space for unpacking bags, good kitchen provisions, excellent hospitality from hosts, situated across street from small store with bread from early morning, all in a quaint Basque fishing village.
