Beautiful, modern and spacious apartment. It’s located in a village about 20-30 minutes from Trier and surrounded by rolling hills and forests. From here you can hike, cycle or do a city trip in Trier. Be aware though that the village does not have any stores, at all. The hosts are very kind and helpful and easy to be reached. We highly recommend this place if you want peace and quiet and privacy.

great location, very welcoming and amazing host. You can completely feel like at home, the apartment is equipped with everything you need, very comfortable and very clean. Variety in spending time, hiking, cycling, wine tasting, visiting beautiful surrounding towns and villages. Totally beautiful place. It was really hard to leave so we decided to stay longer. This friendly hotel was a good retreat in Mainz. Situated near the river, it was quiet at night. The restaurant served good meals at reasonable prices. The breakfast provided everything I wanted and more.
Modern quality hotel, spacious and fine interior with a luxury vibe. Positively suprised with the breakfast buffé, a bit above the avarage buffés I've tried. Highly appreciated with seperate shampo and shower gel (not very common). Great and friendly staff, present around the clock at the reception.
The host helped us with the initial check in which was difficult because we were late. Pre arrival communication by email was great. The village it was located in was very cute and typically old German. There was a pub near by with lots of German charm. The apartment was at the back with a small stream running behind the buildings.
Absolutely lovely place, so well equipped and homely, with a great balcony with superb views.
A real feeling of luxury. 20 minute walk to town though there is a bus stop right outside. We had no issue with parking as we found a space right outside the door and it's free, there are plenty of places nearby too . Loved staying here!
This was a clean large apartment in a quiet village a few miles outside Trier. Since we were driving there was no problem getting into the city. The bathroom was large and modern and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. There were a few homely touches in the form of ornaments, games and books but it was not all cluttered.
The receptionist was excellent, pleasant friendly and very helpful and the room was lovely! An extremely comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom and everything was spotless.
Villa Hügel is all about service. People really care. Our room was exceptional: Spacious, nice furniture, huge bath room with rain shower and extra bath tub. The sky pool has a comfortable temperature and you can watch the top of Trier from there. Breakfast has an exceptional number of choices. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back.
Everything was so superlux!! I really-really love Hotel Villa Hügel - it is so pretty, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sooo good and there was lots of food options, staff is so friendly and helpful all the time! And the view - there is no enough words to describe how beautiful it is!!! Cannot wait to come back soon! :) (L)
