The old mill is beautifully located in a small village by the river. The room was clean, spacious, basic but functional and comfortable. Across the village road is the reception and a lovely little restaurant with a terrace on the river bank. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant and sat out on the terrace watching a heron and ducks while enjoying the peace and quiet. The breakfast was good and staff very friendly.
The Daji appartment is located in quiet village-like outskirts of Luneburg, some five minutes from the centre by car. It is a part of a family house but it has a separate private entry door. There is an Italian restaurant opposite the house and a good bakery round the corner. The owners are easy going and friendly.
