The house is located a little higher than the town, and provides peace and quiet. We were really happily surprised upon finding the state of the house, as previous reviews described a lot of defects and problems in cleanliness. With us, this was not the case! The fence around the balcony was made of sturdy steel, and the cleaners (who we saw upon arrival) worked very hard to make everything look great, and everything smelled fresh and clean. The top floor bedrooms provided two double beds each. The bathroom provided a spacious shower, and although the sittingroom was mayble a little crowded, it provided everything we needed. The spacious driveway provided a little bbq spot and every morning we could see squirls hopping around.

Very charming and nice separate house in a wonderful garden in the middle of the town just around the corner from the herds of tourists, but still very quiet.

Cozy pension in the heart of the village, about 20 minutes walk from both the train station and riverfront canoe rental shops. Family run, lovely hosts who were responsive to online messages in english, checked us in at a late hour, and served us breakfast the next day. Building and ambiance is charming given the location between buildings in the center. Shower is small but strong and hot. Breakfast is a separate charge but good quality, eggs and meat, coffee/tea and juice, and a small continental spread. Solid Wifi.
