We had a great time in the tiny house. As of now there is a lot of privacy because the next lot is still un-developed, which is especially nice for using the cute outdoor area. The tiny house had everything we needed and more, the AC works great, bed is super comfy and you can make yourself a dinner or breakfast – but there's also a lot of great food options in walking distance also. We especially recommend the cheap but good pizza at Pura Pizza, the Argentinian restaurant La Brasa and the coffee at Rolling Waves. To the beach it's a nice ten minute walk. If you come with a car, you can safely park inside the property. Contact with Rina and her husband was super friendly and with a very quick reaction time. Will definitely be back!

The house is stunning. Set in the hills above Samara it has views over the bay, framed by tropical plants and trees. The picture on Booking.com shows monkeys and we weren't disappointed. A whole troupe of howler monkeys could be seen, and definitely heard, in the trees surrounding the property.
The house is a great size for 6. It has a spacious indoor living space, numerous outdoor seating areas and good size bedrooms. It is a beautiful home, and we felt very much at home while there, and even though we had a trip cancelled due to extreme rain, we didn't feel we missed out as we loved spending time at the house, enjoying the views and relaxing.
We were encouraged to borrow the body boards for the beach, which made our beach visit much more fun.

We stayed at Villas Tangerine 6 nights and it was amazing! Jenna is so welcoming and personable. We loved that we could walk to town and the beach and cook a meal if we wanted to. The breakfast was like a gourmet restaurant. We loved to sit in the swinging chairs after dark and watch the moon and stars. It really was the highlight of our trip. Thank you Jenna! We hope to come back someday.
Hotel Villas Tangerine was pure heaven, I loved my stay so much. I was only there for a day so just swung in the hammock watching the birds and the goats and dipping into the pool. Jenna had such a good energy and cooked a delicious fresh breakfast and was so very helpful for my onward journeying. It's so peaceful with cool planting and my room was so well styled. I loved the walk over to the wild beach, 15 mins to watch the local fish. THANK YOU x
Villas Tangerine really felt like paradise - the rooms are comfortable, very clean and well-equipped, they are giving to a charming garden with a pool. The kitchen is lovely and breakfast was amazing and different every day! The host was also very kind and helpful, she gave us some great recommendations. Highly recommended!
Wow! Wow! Wow! We loved our stay at Villas Tangerine. Jenna and Drew are the kindest, most generous pair, offering wonderful hospitality (even kindly going to collect my sandals I had left somewhere!). The hotel is set within lush grounds which are the perfect place to relax. The breakfasts were wonderful and varied and full of freshness and healthy, tasty treats. We just wish we could have stayed longer and were sad to leave . We definitely hope to be back. Do not hesitate to book this place. Thanks again both, with love Fran and Emma x
Very helpful staff. Excellent villas with plenty of space. The bedroom AC was nice especially on the hot evenings.
Close to everything: The beach was a 2 minute walk across the street. The Saturday farmers market was just behind the property. Easy walk to shops in town.

The garden/swimming pool is a little oasis surrounded by the 5 independent villas. You'll feel at home there!

The property is absolutely beautiful! A gorgeous central area with the pool, bar and restaurant area with surrounding adorable villas/bungalows. Yet it is within walking distance to anywhere you want to go in town.
The location is ideal, close to the beach (a road to cross) and very quiet. The bungalow was well furnished and the bed was very comfy. We stayed three nights at Villas Kalimba and unfortunately, the restaurant was closed from Sunday to Tuesday. But we discovered a lot of good restaurants in the neighborhood. Samara is a nice village with an authentic soul. And the ocean is warm and safe! Very good waves for surfing...
