Owners were friendly and communicative. They emailed instructions and provided extra payment options since my PayPal wasn't working in Costa Rica. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets for bedding, rooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, oils, and seasonings that made cooking at home easy.

The second we walked in we noticed how incredibly clean it was. The kitchen had all the appliances and things we needed to be able to cook. And the space was thoughtfully put together. Everything about Casa Maar is exceptionnal. The tent itself is beautiful and feels very luxurious. There is every single thing you need which makes it feel like a 5 star hotel. This is such a unique experience that you won’t get anywhere else. The food was delicious and the host was an excellent guide for the area. I’d highly recommend staying here. Who doesn’t want to wake up overlooking a volcanic crater and lush rainforest!
