The Villa was very clean and well equipped, the pool was also great and definitely a highlight of the stay. Overall it was a great stay. We forgot an item as well, and the staff informed us and even helped us ship it.

We loved the landscaping on the property as well as the private villas which included an outdoor kitchen. The Host was delightful and most of all very helpful with assisting us where to go. For example, where to buy fresh fish from the fisherman’s. The owner of this beach escape surely, understood the assignment of a paradise dream. Thank You Both! A little oasis in the outskirts of Puerto Viejo. Casa Kristel was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We used the outdoor kitchen to cook simple meals, and took advantage of the pool on warm days. The room was comfortable, and had an AC and fan. There was a supermarket very close by if you need to buy snacks or ingredients for any meals.

The host was incredibly responsive via Whatsapp and went above and beyond to help and ensure I was comfortable. I visited in May when it was very hot and incredibly humid. It was an absolute luxury having the split system air conditioner in the bedroom. I stayed for two weeks and the host contacted me regularly to see if I would like the house cleaned and were accommodating arranging a time that suited me.
Las Palomas Villas was the ideal set-up and location, with the beach in walking distance and other beautiful beaches a tuk tuk ride away. Clean, spacious and located in a stunning rainforest. Our villa was right next to the pool and we were lucky to have an array of wildlife on our doorstep including a sloth! Ana was the perfect hostess and couldn’t be more helpful with making sure we were comfortable and had local recommendations. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this side of Costa Rica. The location is perfect, the apartment is located 2km away from Puerto Viejo. It is surrounded by forest and only a few villas are on the property which makes it a relaxing place ideally for families and solo travellers. The pool was nice and the distribution of the apartment was convenient.

It is a wonderful, lovely place. The houses are furnitured so beautiful and they are surrounded by rainforest. We saw the Agouti Agnes an Variolä Slots and could watch the Kolibris. It’s so peaceful. Also the surrounding villages and braches are beautiful.

This is a truly amazing place to stay. The location is perfect, only a few minutes away from shops, restaurants and the beach, but still very quiet. There are two national parks close by, and one of the best beaches in Costa Rica, Playa Punta Uva. The garden surrounding the villas is beautiful; the pool has a good size for swimming and is well maintained. Staff is very helpful and friendly, and the villa is immaculate and very clean.
