I stayed here twice and absolutely loved it both times. So clean, spacious and the owner is extremely helpful and responsive. There is a parking spot if you need it and the area feels very safe and is a 3 minute drive to the airport!!

Alonso is a great host. We got there late in the night because our flight was delayed and he was waiting for us. Also, the next day we did not have cash and waited for us to go to an ATM to get it. The cabaña is very cute and cozy in the middle of the nature, with a small kitchen if needed and a nice terrace. Less than 20 minutes from the airport by car.

Owners were friendly and communicative. They emailed instructions and provided extra payment options since my PayPal wasn't working in Costa Rica. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets for bedding, rooms were spacious and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, oils, and seasonings that made cooking at home easy.
Perfect for families, groups, or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while traveling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, free-standing mansions – travelers can cook, lounge, and explore at their own pace. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The location is beautiful. The room was quiet and very comfortable. We were able to keep our car secure at Villa Margarita while we were travelling outside Costa Rica for two weeks. It is excellent value and easy to get to/from the airport. Margarita is an excellent host. We plan to stay again when needed.
Our family stayed here the night before our flight out of San Jose. Nice and quiet estate with little villas in a gated property in the hills of Alajuela. Cool little shared courtyard with a decent pool to cool off. Easy to get into town and only 20-25 minutes to the airport. The included breakfast was good with gallo pinto, cereal, lots of fresh fruit and juice and coffee.
The villas were very clean, private, and had beautiful views. The staff were extremely nice and made sure we had an awesome time. They helped us with excursions and transportation to get to the excursions.
The hotel was really lovely. Very chic style throughout and in the rooms. The bed was big and the room spacious.
The staff were friendly and food was good. Breakfast was delicious and the free transfer to and from the airport was excellent particularly as Ubers could be unreliable.
The view of San José at night is stunning and a real attraction of this property (some of the balcony rooms / villas have a view over this).
Our villas were excellent; clean, comfortable and well furnished. The grounds are beautiful. You'd never know you were close to the airport, without hearing any planes. Berni, our host, was very helpful in all ways. He shares so much of his knowledge, that this is a great place to begin your stay in Costa Rica. From free taxi to the hotel, to helping rent a car, he does it all. Breakfast to go and got us a taxi for our early flight out.
The villas are very nice, clean and spacious. The beds were really comfortable. The breakfast was nicely presented and really good. The garden is lovely and full of little boards with information about the trees and plants. The neighborhood is not so nice but the distance to the airport was just perfect. So for us it was a perfect stay before flying home.
