it was like having a whole resort to yourself. Spectacular, beautiful, amazing, heavenly are some of the words I would use to describe the place as well as our host Mr. M. who is the most attentive, kindest, sweetest man you will ever meet. If I could take him home, in a heartbeat. He's like that special grandpapa everyone dreams about. The sounds of the waves are magnificent and there is a little river close by to swim in as well as the ocean right at your door step. I recommend 1000%. The staff as well as Edwin, Mr. M.'s grandson go above and beyond. Communication is stellar and anything you need, you will have within minutes. So responsive, so nice....they enhanced what was already the best experience we have ever had and we have travelled extensively all over the world! It was soooooooooo hard to leave. Thank you so much for your attentiveness, your kindness and sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Everything is to like of Playa Mandala. I have been back 5 times already. The location is close enough to walk to Palomino yet far enough to be away from the noise. The units are luxurious and the staff friendly. The chef in the kitchen cook meals to die for yet they are not overpriced. I will return once more in a couple of weeks.

Away from the more lively end of the beach the Makao was perfect for us as we wanted to relax. Their beach beds are so comfy and luxurious and give a great view of the ocean. They will serve drinks and snacks to you here and even brought out complimentary fruit platters in the afternoon!
The food was excellent - I had the garlic prawns twice because I loved them so much.
The grounds were gorgeous and hosts were so kind an attentive. The kitchen had everything you need sans your actual groceries. There was coffee, tea, oil, seasonings etc
It was well kept, very clean and had the cutest cats relaxing and asking for pets.
Had a little villa originally but they had space and moved us to the rooms and shared kitchen. The outdoor space was so nice and welcoming with good internet connection all around
Beautiful, beachfront area, where the bungalows are located (looks like a postcard). Spacious, comfortable bungalow with a great design. Delicious breakfast, friendly staff, great massages. The hotel is located within a short beach walk from Palomino, and close to the entrance to the Tayrona National Park.
I absolutely recommend this hotel.
The view its amazing. We couldn't believe a place in the middle of the jungle could be so comfortable.
