We absolutely loved everything about our stay at La Candelaria. The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well-equipped with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The location is amazing - 2 minutes from the gorgeous and quiet beach, a few minutes walk into the fishing town of Dibulla where there are a few restaurants, shops and a beach bar. Margarita, the host, is the loveliest woman - always going above and beyond to help and also brilliant to talk to. We extended our stay because we wanted to stay forever! We will definitely come back next time we visit Colombia. Amazing value for money, especially for this part of the country. Highly recommend!!

I've been to Dibulla many times, the property is great and in a quiet location with access to the beach. Rooms are well appointed, no air conditioning but cool at night. The lady who does the cleaning also prepares an excellent breakfast. It's a great place to spend some time in the Guajira. It's also a great value, excellent for two couples or a couple with young children. In sum, a spotless, well appointed beach cabin with all the basics to have a great time.

Where do I start .. this place is magical! It’s really a hidden secret! The house is made with a lot of love to details, very clean, very quiet and in a relaxing location. It is perfect for chilling a few days and calming down. The beach right in front of the house is basically for yourself since there are not a lot of people. Dibulla is a super cute place, not touristy at all, very real and the people are so friendly!
Last but not least the host Raquel: she is really beyond helpful, went shopping with us in the town, was always there when we needed something. We are really happy that we could spend these days in her beautiful house!

Everything was exceptional. The house an example of Colombian architecture, spacious and clean. Magnificent outdoor space with hammocs and a refreshing small pool. Walking distance to the village. Our host Marga is a wonderful and cultivate person who was next to us for everything we needed. If you want to get relax vibes in a quiet and not touristic carribean village this is the place. This hotel is so luxurious, the staff were so attentive and kind, the furniture was super comfortable and the wooden architecture was so beautiful.
The rooms overlooking the beach were just gorgeous. I could peek over and see the beach from the shower, it was just magical! Listening to the waves from the shower and bed was so relaxing.
The food was delicious! Outdoor bar and restaurant was gorgeous, and sipping a cocktail in the pool overlooking the ocean was just heaven.

Amazing view over the Caribbean Sea, rooms are very nice, bathroom is amazing and it features hot water, a real luxury in La Guajira. The sound of the waves is really relaxing.
The restaurant is nice but some things in the menu were not available, the hotel is fairly new so I'm sure it will improve.
Because it is a smaller Villa style Hotel and Pool, it’s a lot like a more private resort for people who don’t like to be on busy resorts. The service is personalized, and the locals in the area are accommodating to those who come to visit.
