We had an amazing time at Cabaña Pimientos,the owner Lis was one of the kindlest and friendliest hosts I have never met.She really went out of her way to help us make our holiday in Atacama a great one..We had issues booking tours with our credit card and she bought them for us so we wouldn't miss out of them.she was our saviour and the reason our holiday plans were so successful.I will never forget her hospitality,helpfulness and personal touch when dealing with us.Her cabaña is beautiful,lovely decorated,spotlessly clean and in a very pretty, peaceful scenic location very close from San Pedro town.She was also very kind to allow us to check out late as we had an evening flight.I will highly recommend any tourists visiting San Pedro to stay at this cabin.Thank you Lis for making our stay so enjoyable and our holiday so memorable.

The decoration was very cool . It was not located in the main road of the village where most hotels/hostels, shops and restaurants are but it was only five minutes walking distance. The breakfast was quite nice and the place was very clean and quiet.
Exceptional service from the staff - they couldn't do enough for us! The rooms are absolutely beautiful and clean, as is the pool and restaurant area. The hotel really gives off luxury vibes. The location was perfect.
Beautiful, relaxing location. We loved the courtyard with the hammocks. A little bit outside of town, but it's a very easy and enjoyable walk, and we appreciated being able to retreat from the bustle of town center. Would definitely stay here again on a future visit!
Location is a bit outside of the village, but it’s a quiet area. The staff is very helpful. We could check in earlier and by checking out, we were allowed to leave the luggages and hang around the hotel until we were picked up for the airport.
We were leaving early in the morning for activities and they packed us breakfast every day. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Our room had a terrace too, so was nice to sit outside in the evening. You can also see the sunset from the main terrace of the hotel.
Cute hostel, despite the fact that the whole village is in the sand, my room and all the premises of the hostel in general were perfectly clean. A good bathroom, kitchen, couches, internet, there is everything you need for a stay.
Good and friendly hosts, helped me deal with tickets to the parks and advised me on visiting local attractions and sights. I am completely satisfied.
We loved everything about the Desertica. Exceptional service from the moment we arrived and received a warm welcome and welcome drink. The food is fabulous. The room (no 7) was beautiful. And the best part I think is the property design and gardens - the views from the room out to beautiful trees and planting, sweet little seating areas dotted around the villas, a very nice pool area. It’s also right in the middle of town so great location for restaurants, hiking bikes etc. The staff are warm and helpful 10/10 ☺️

It is located 5min by car from the city center, so you need a car but it’s very easy to drive to the center and park so not a problem at all.
It is very quiet, great for couples and nature lovers.
Breakfast is simple but more than enough, the swimming pool is very nice too.
I would definitely go back there if I go to the Atacama desert again.
I rarely give a 10, but what can I say? This hostal deserves it. The accommodation was perfect. It's not luxurious, but it has everything you will need as a traveller or a backpacker. The employees really do their best to accommodate you and make you feel at home. Thr breakfast is good. You can book all your tours also here. They work with a very good touroperator who has bilingual guides. I enjoyed my six days at Mamatierra. Sebastian, thank you.
The location is great for stargazing, far away from the village. ( You can see Jupiter and his 4 moons from the telescope that is provided!)The apartment is well equipped with comfy beds and spacious rooms.You have to be extra careful with water consuming since it is very rare at that part of the planet.The host is very helpful and lives next door. You absolutely need to rent a car from calama airport in order to stay at this apartment and live the glorious moments that Atacama desert is offering.
