Upon arrival the owner was there and gave us a tour of the house and explained its history. The house has a lot of atmosphere, is quirky and we kept discovering new things all the time. It's a very unique place. We had a great time and enjoyed having the fire on. The outside is very nice too and has a fire place as well. The location is excellent just a short walk into Thun.

Unfortunately we have just returned from a 10 night stay at Lakeviewhouse, we could have stayed forever! The view is absolutely stunning and we have never stayed in such a well equipped house. We have throughly enjoyed our stay and as we had a car the house was a great base to explore the area. Access to the lake was fantastic and an unexpected bonus. We would highly recommend.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very large, same as bathroom. We had a fantastic view on the lake and a second side balcony with the view on the village. Breakfast was decent. We also had a nice dinner at hotel restaurant. Having only 2 floors, the hotel has an elevator. Also, they have a covered free parking for hotel guests and an electric charger for electric cars. We arrived with an electric car and it was so good to get it charged by the hotel because the nearest electric charger was far away.
The accommodation is clean, there is a kitchen for cooking. Not far from the train station. And you can take the bus to go to other villages. The important thing is that this city has many beautiful places with beautiful views to visit.
Stayed in the annex building across the road from the main hotel building. Excellent location and stunning views of the lake and mountains. Breakfast included, continental. Lovely little village, very pretty and peaceful area. Drinks can be bought from a main fridge in the hotel and are reasonably priced.
very good, like the view of the lake with snowpeaks in the distance and green trees close to the hotel. The architecture of the main building is marvellous, traditional old mansion house close to the lake, laid back from the main road, on a side road slightly up the hill. The annexe part is modern, very functional. Parking facilities are close to the hotel.
