Our stay was wonderful—such a beautiful place with a charming apartment, a lovely pool, and incredibly kind, attentive hostesses who went above and beyond to make our visit special. The view from the apartment was stunning, adding to the overall experience. The hostesses treated us like family, providing excellent recommendations for delicious restaurants in the area that we thoroughly enjoyed. They were also amazing with kids; our two daughters had a fantastic time in the pool and garden.
There’s so much to do in the area, with the border being so close that you can reach Italy and Lake Como in just a few minutes. We’ll definitely return

The location (silent, sunny, with view on the lake), the village Morcote itself, the spaceous rooms, AND all the food and beverages that the host has surprised us with. Once we had a little issue with the infrastructure and the host immediately came over to fix the problem - that was perfect.
We stayed here for three nights in June 2024. The room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful view of the lake. The hotel is charming and the staff were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The pizza is one of the best I have ever had and the village of Morcote is very beautiful and tranquil. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Fantastic village, apartment located in the central point with beautiful view on lake and mountains - first line. All what's needed in apartment. Fantastic restaurants around - no need to search, just step in or book table and you will be in 7th heaven :)

The location of this hotel is stunning, view of the lake from your window. The staff is exceptional. Kind, helpful and make you feel right at home. Restaurant on site is excellent with local specialties. Morcote is a lovely village off the beaten path with easy access to Lugano.
The location right on the lakeside in the middle of the village is superb and the view of the lake from our room was exceptional and made it well worth the many sets of steps to climb.
The room, although not luxurious, was clean and comfortable. We liked all the original local artworks throughout the hotel.
Dinner in the restaurant was very good.
The village of Morcote is delightful. The apartment is centrally located just steps from the lakeside. The apartment was comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen and nice lounge and dining area. Beds were comfortable. Accessing the apartment was straightforward and we were able to get in early when we arrived to Morcote.
Arbostora is one of the quietest, poshest, and undiscovered places on the lake Lugano. The hotel is on the border of the lake, with a really exotic and rare scenery: think of palm trees meet Swiss Alps meet all the really nice smelling flowers typical for Mediterranean area. Also the property has one of the best restaurants in the area, a bit pricey but I learned that in Switzerland you get what you pay for. I would recommend taking the hiking trails and do a tour up the mountain through the villas with the nicest garden I’ve ever seen.
