It was advertised as "out of the box" and the good bit of that is that it is quirky and individual and we loved that. There are actually two little chalets next to each other linked by a wooden terrasse. One of them has a kitchen, bathroom, lounge and a bedroom and the other one has two bedrooms and a bathroom. Everything was very clean. The kitchen is well equipped and they left some coffee pods and tea bags for us as well as a few cooking essentials. The location is great as you can walk into the village and you have your own parking space.

Fantastic coordination and information-sharing from the host(s) from the time of booking and up to the time right before checkout. Great place located centrally - accessible by public transport and close to supermarkets, shops and restaurants. Even if it's central, the location is still very quiet and calm. The apartment is clean, organized, and well-equipped. Value for money is there and it's great we found this gem. :) Really had a great experience and would highly recommend!

Great location next to the village centre. Decent breakfast and helpful staff. The hotel has a nice guest lounge if you have a small room for a break out area. The hotel offers a free pick up service from the station if you have luggage and has parking underneath . The better rooms are the larger ones with balcony , so pay more the upgrade if you can . Stayed for 10 days to visit my son at the local school during the busiest time of year being mid -feb .
The hotel was exceptional, everybody was very kind and helpful at all times, the breakfast quality was great, the room was very good and clean and the restaurant was also great, do try it! Excellent location close to the lift and the village centre.

Friendly staff. The room is big, with a nice view, and everything you need in it. Confortable, warm and cozy, perfect to relax after a day out in the mountains.

Amazing architecture inside the hotel -- walls, ceiling, floors made of wood. Tranquil pool and spa. Fantastic facilities -- real luxury. Our penthouse suite had magical views of the village and surrounding mountains.
The apartment was in a perfect location for our stay. We were attending a festival on the Eggli mountain and the apartment was right next to the lift up the mountain. I imagine this would also be a perfect location for a ski holiday. It was clean and the hosts were very responsive and accommodating. It's a bit old school but well kept up and clean. If you don't need modern and luxury, this would be a fantastic place for your stay in Gstaad.
As we were going to a concert in Saanen the location was perfect.
Breakfast was excellent with local products.
Rougemont is a very charming Swiss Village/town.

The hotel is excellent for families with small children. There’s a playground and a kids club. Our 4-year-old son enjoyed playing there.
We also really liked the design both in the lobby and the room.
The staff is attentive and friendly.
The village (Saanen) is a short walk away and very cute.
Gstaad can be reached in five minutes by car or a short bike ride. There is also a bus stop in front of the hotel.
Overall a very nice experience, already planning my next stay at Huus.
