It was in a quiet neighborhood. There were plenty of amenities. There was privacy. The host was very nice. The property management company was helpful. Owner of property is very nice. Like that we were not in all the congestion of downtown. Liked that it was easy access to things around the outside of the city. Still very close to multiple restaurants. Very nice stay. Cindy was exceptionally helpful in communicating via messaging during and after our stay. The Parking fee was reasonable and very convenient, I'm not certain I've ever seen such a clean parkade:) Great value, great location would stay again.
The location is excellent, close to shopping and restaurant area . Fisherman’s wharf is walkable . It is a comfortable luxury suite, comfortable bed and excellent hot water . Area is quiet and bedroom curtains close completely. Spa and gym good . The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. We felt money well spent .
We loved the location- very handy to Cook Village and the ocean. Beautifully restored historic property. Very clean and well appointed, spacious room. Great breakfasts! Kathy and Jenny were so interesting and very kind to us. Excellent parking!
Room was fairly basic but comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. There is a nice bar downstairs and breakfast in the restaurant also downstairs was very good and convenient. A 10 minute walk to town so everything easily accessible. Not a luxury stay but reasonably priced as a result.
Proximity to Victoria is nice. Close enough that it's a short drive into the city, but far enough away that you feel you're out of the city. The view is beautiful. The area is quiet. We saw deer on the side of the winding hill to and from the house. You get plenty of space to be with family and friends, and the bedrooms are large enough that you can retreat to be on your own. There are boardgames in the closet and game consoles that can be connected if you want. We played cards games and board games to unwind in the evening.
location was great. overall the value was good, a room for 200 dollars within walking distance of downtown core in victoria. basically what you would want, no frills, and if your priority is a cheaper hotel that you sleep in but not paying for luxury than this is the place. If you have champagne tastes dont book here.
Simple and clean. Loved the shower! Decent kitchenette for making breakfasts. Location was okay for driving into Greater Victoria or going to Sooke and other western points. We enjoyed the village of Metchosin, especially the little coffee shop called The Broken Paddle.
