The chalet was very comfortable and located on a quiet, scenic lake. The rooms were large and comfortable and some basic cooking supplies were provided. We were 5 senior siblings getting together to reminisce and enjoy ourselves without other family members present. It was an ideal location for this outing.

The hosts were excellent and very responsive. The condo was equipped with everything you need, and it was nice to be able to sit outside. Excellent location - close to so many things to do.

The location on the mountain was awesome. The setup was so very welcoming on arrival. The little extras were appreciated.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Nice staff, nice size room. Having a fridge in the room and a toaster, and a microwave nearby was convenient. The village is a short 15 minute scenic walk away. Really enjoyed my stay.
Walking distance to everything. Bike path, village, river, Saturday market, hiking trails up to Mt. Condor. Quiet location. My daughter now owns my parent's family home on Lac Doré (Golden Lake). We could have stayed with her but wanted a mini vacation on our own. Lovely!
Very nicely equipped room and common areas. Good breakfast. Despite being shared, the bathrooms were very clean.
The house is a few minutes walk from the village centre. an excellent base for winter sports. And seeing deers from the window was an extra bonus.

The apartment is stylishly decorated, very well maintained and equipped with everything that is necessary.
The large veranda overlooks the village of Val David. You can not get tired of the beautiful view.
The owners were very friendly, helpful, and they answered all our questions within 5 minutes.

I went to Val-David for a solo writing retreat to work on my novel. The staff was lovely and made accommodations to make sure I was having a great stay, including switching me to a room with a view of the river (and deers eating pumpkin!) when they learned I'd spend most of the time at the desk in my bedroom. The place has a full kitchen available to guests and offers a nice breakfast. Overall one of the best stays I had so far, thank you Oberge Inn! Definitely staying there next time I go to Val-David :)
Located in a lovely area of Val David. Right beside the river and a couple minutes walk from the bike path and the village. They rent out bikes and kayaks/canoes too! Very nice and friendly owners.
