Property was great! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need. Loved the patio set up and how it was fully enclosed. The fire pit, bbq area were all great. Hot tub was amazing, loved the twinkle lights and a great view of the water. The hosts are extremely organized, very communicative. Would definitely stay here again if heading to Port Renfrew.

We especially liked the privacy of this cabin. There are many cabins in this complex and we are not sure any had as private a lot as us. The firepit was totally surrounded by a hedge and we couldn't even see our neighbours. Karen provided us with a propane firepit as there was a fire ban during our stay. We were able to sit around it in the evenings and enjoy s'mores. This is like luxury glamping because of the firepit experience. Also loved the sun on the front deck which extended our afternoons.
This is an amazing property. From start to finish, everything about Sandy Feet Retreat was excellent from communications with the host, clear instructions in an informative on-site binder and emails, the location and view of the ocean, the cleanliness of the cottage, the amenities, the comfort of the bed and other furnishings, and the ease of setting up Netflix, after not being able to stream Prime.
Port Renfew is a charming village with a small harbour. It's like being at the end of the world, it's isolated in a remarkable environment, no mobile telephone network, in short far from the hustle and bustle of modern life!
Peace and quiet. I was on a meditation and prayer retreat after a son's wedding. It may rain a lot there but I relished the sound on the metal roof. Each cottage has privacy hedges so even when 3 young men next door were laughing a lot they were not intrusive. I got to poke sticks in my first fire of the year due to summer fire bans and Covid.
