We loved the common area and the communal bbqs! The location could not be better with so many restaurants and cafes nearby. Plus the beachfront location is perfect.
The amazing breakfasts were the highlight of our stay at Rowena's Retreat. Rowena is a talented chef that goes above and beyond in providing delicious and very filling breakfasts! We found the bedroom spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked. Watching the sunset from the patio with a glass of local wine was the perfect way to wrap up our stay here. Would definitely recommend this B&B to other couples.
The service provided by the staff at the Lakeside Villa Inn & Suites is exceptional, raising the bar of excellence to it highest level. The room is extremely clean, and the property is right across the street through private entrance to Skaha Lake...
For the price, we were very satisfied with the room. Not updated or luxurious but suited us just fine. Staff was very friendly and had the room ready for us earlier than expected.

Staff was very friendly, late check-in after 22:00 was possible after we arrive late due to some delays.

Rowena and Fred's place is amazing. They are so nice and made sure we had everything we needed, including lending us a cooler for the day. The accommodations (beds, rooms, parking, outdoor deck, the VIEW, etc) are superb, and the FOOD was just WOW. Rowena's breakfasts were absolutely delicious and quite the experience. All around, we would highly recommend Rowena's Retreat.
Rowena's cooking is wonderful so be ready for an amazing breakfast, the view from the deck is gorgeous, the house is impeccably clean, the beds really comfortable, Rowena and Fred are delightful and funny. We LOVED our stay and will definitely be back, we recommend Rowena's Retreat 100%.
With this property being a motel, we do didn’t expect luxury obviously; but it is painted in cute colors, room was clean, location is good - close to Skaha lake beach.
The motel is not brand new, but well-maintained.
Area felt very safe, no concerns at all.
Welcoming staff. Spotless room. Comfortable bed. Great linens. Large luxurious bathroom towels. Quiet room.On-site pub was a bonus. Staff called us to check room was comfortable.
