Comfortable, exceptionally clean cottages that felt like home. Playground for kids was a nice perk. Just minutes to several beaches and Avonlea Village shops and restaurants. Having a kitchen was so convenient for relaxing at home. Sunsets from the deck were beautiful!
Great location. Got to go to Cavendish Beach, Avonlea Village, and Green Gables Heritage Place all within 5 minute's drive, plus also just stepped over to Adventure Zone in the evening as it was right across the street.
Great that they also gave us plenty of cups to use and lent us a wine opener.
Luxurious to have separate bedrooms for us and the kids. That works much better when you have an early riser like we do. Kitchen was more than adequate - full oven, microwave, toaster...even a tiny dishwasher. Dishwasher and dish soap and cleaning material included. The gas station just behind the motel has a lot of the little things - milk, eggs, bread - or there's a grocery store just a few km down the road. There's a LM Montgomery-themed park behind the motel, too, with some good displays and walking paths.
The property is ideally located to visit Green Gables Heritage Place and Avonlea Village, Cavendish Beach and the National Park, and also to drive to other western parts of PEI. There is a Tim Horton coffee shop and mini-supermarket next door, together with a petrol station, and good restaurants nearby (particularly the Lost Anchor just up the road). Staff were also friendly and helpful.
