Good dialogue with the host. They helped us out with shopping of groceries on the first day before we got our rental car, and was also flexible on the check out which was perfect as we had a late flight home.

This is such a lovely place to stay. Nicole is a fantastic host and was always ready to help with anything. The house is a very comfortable traditional Bajan home with a good kitchen, comfy beds, good shower and all you need. The neighbourhood is quiet, safe and friendly although there are a few chickens so ear plugs are a good idea if that would bother you.
The location is excellent for a 10 minute walk to the beach (Bats Rock - which is a fantastic natural beach with palm trees and safe swimming), easy walking to supermarket, restaurants and bars.
We stayed for a week and would happily go back.
There is also ample parking and easy road access to the rest of the island.
Sat Nav can be a bit tricky, but searching ‘Prospect Close, Saint James, Barbados’ on Google maps is correct. The close is off Crusher Site Road, which is well known. The what3words is ///straying.ember.turns.

A lovely, peaceful house, the balcony was our favourite space to lounge and we ate breakfast outside everyday. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to anyone who is happy with basic amenities and local living. The property is well-equipped and there's a really helpful book with recommended places to eat and visit in the area. Kenrick was super helpful - as was Ian. We enjoyed bananas from the garden and interacting with the local community as they passed the house on the path that runs alongside it. We highly recommend De Garage 'Jukebox Wednesdays' for karaoke, great food and vibes and rum!

Cyrus was very helpful in getting us acquainted with the property and neighborhood. He also helped us get back my backpack that I left in the taxi on my way in from the airport. The villas are clean, comfortable and located on a small stretch of private beach that is pristine.
A wonderful hotel that I couldn't recommend highly enough. It balances perfectly between tourist luxury, a beautiful nearby beach, but also being near a local area with local people so you can experience Bajan culture. Really great and thank you.
The location was great, beachfront with plenty of loungers, the villa was a nice size. A living room with a joining dining area and mini kitchen and the bathroom off the bedroom with two separate door entrances. The bed was very comfortable. The Restaurant was very good, as was the nightly entertainment.

My stay was amazing, thanks to Lydia who was very Professional and nice with checked us in and made sure everything was okay with us.
The room was clean well and tidy i like that a lot.I was so comfortable straying there It's a cool chill spot too enjoy and relax for real ill recommend anyone to come to the BLR BEACH VILLAS.
