Our stay at Villa Bilja was extraordinary! It was a privilege to stay in a 15th century castle that has all the modern necessities that one needs. Waking up to birds chirping outside is definitely something that you don’t get to experience every day. The host, Aleksandar made sure our stay was great by being there to answer all our questions. Definitely one of our top stays and we hope to be back. We charged our batteries in this heaven on earth.

40 minutes from Dubrovnik. A house belonging to local people in a village in Bosnia. The host is very hospitable. The interior was very clean. I stayed for 1 night and left. Very good price-performance ratio. There is a shower, the beds are clean and tidy. The host also offered us local pies and cakes. We waited 5 minutes at the border gate. The border gate was not very busy. I liked it.

Herceg Villa was so comfortable with amazing service. We received very helpful recommendations and advice for not only Trebinje but also for our further adventures. Very helpful with luggage, easy parking and glorious fresh mint tea if requested. Coffee was great at breakfast too!
The rooms were very comfortable. We had a very good evening meal at the restaurant of the Villa Pergola. I would highly recommend staying at the Villa Pergola and enjoy the beautiful city of Trebinje.
When reading the reviews, we did not expect a luxury and that was the fact in reality. Simple place in the middle of nowhere. Basic accommodation, basic kitchen equipment. But very nice owners, swimming pool at the property (which we did not use), good value for money when you want to commute to Dubrovnik across the boarder.
Villa Zorka is an amazing place close to Trebinje, with spacious rooms, functional kitchen and big yard. It is perfect for trips with families, and the host was unbelievably friendly and helpful.
Also, there is an aquapark close by, our kids loved it!
