Perfect house and perfect location. It located in a quiet and safe area. The whole apartment is in a great status, super clean and cozy. Matt and Steph are so kind and prepared milk / coffee / bread / travel handbooks, etc to us. All the rooms are well equipted and warm. We can find everything we need in the apartment. We are a group of 6, and all of us had a great time. Our car is a MVP which is large, parking inside the yard is a bit hard. We parked our car on the street in front of the apartment (other neighbours also do the same) for 3 days and had no problem.

Location was quite a distance from the main part of Hobart and from the Harbour. However it was near a nice shopping strip, supermarket and bottle shop.

About 20 minutes from Hobart Airport, the Kangaroo House of Mount Rumney Escapes is a secluded wonderful hideout with a lovely view of Hobart. We like the comfy beds, the complete kitchen, the very clean bathroom, and the wallabies and echidna immediately outside. The very kind host was reachable even late at night.

This place was a dream! Exquisite and cosy, it also oozed comfort and elegance. I loved the garden setting and its proximity to the village - a pretty walk. Breakfast supplies were great and wifi connectivity first class!

The owners are extremely lovely, accommodating, made us feel like we were family, checked in on us after we settled in to make sure we were OK.
Nice location with modern comfortable rooms. Plenty to look at in the village and the pub serves great meals at reasonable prices. We will stay at the Coachman's Rest again.
