Barossa Idyll, hotel in Tanunda

Located in Tanunda and only 41 km from Big Rocking Horse, Barossa Idyll provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

Barossa Idyll comfortably accommodated our family group of 8 (4 couples). There was another room available with a Queen size bed which we would have used also, but one couple unfortunately could not come at the last minute. Being a big group and getting ready for a wedding, we appreciated the 4 separate rooms with a bath or shower! The rooms were very clean, big fluffy towels provided, and the beds were comfortable with lovely linen. We didn’t prepare any meals at the property but there was a fully equipped kitchen, large fridge and pantry. Thank you to our host for leaving us a lovely platter of cheese, sausage, pate, bread and wine for our arrival. There were several areas for us to relax inside which were comfortable and the large room had a beautiful view. Easy finding keys and checking out.

The retreat was in a perfect location to explore Barossa, whether you're wanting to go to wineries, explore the townships or both. The retreat itself is incredibly spacious which is great for a family or a group of friends, with all the amenities you could need for a long weekend away. The Lambert family were very hospitable and if you have the chance, book in for a delicious lunch at the winery! Keep an eye out for kangaroos between the vines too!

The warm and knowledgable hosts of Angaston lodge thought of everything - abundant breakfast supplies, comfy bed and Cosy fire. And the location was perfect overlooking the valley and within minutes of Angaston village.

Fabulous location at the high end of the gorgeous Main Street in Angaston. Wonderful walking down to cafes, pubs & great local produce stores in this little village. It is a great base to walk the Barossa with access to the trail to Nuriootpa & Tanunda. Apartment is comfortable & warm with outlook on to historic buildings. Sparkling wine & chocolate was a lovely hospitable gesture. We will definitely visit & stay again. Thank you to our host Nicky

We loved our stay at Benbullen Retreat. The property is perfect and so well looked after inside and out, very clean. Amazing views and stars at night time. Really spacious, plenty of bedrooms, comfy beds, great bathrooms and quality linen. The manager Ken was really responsive to questions we had during our stay and couldn't have done more to help. We'd recommend and will definitely be staying again.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay in this 110 year old Heritage Cottage in the centre of the village. It is essy walking distance to many Eateries and a local pub. Jim and Jeanette made us feel very welcome and supplied us with eggs, bacon, mushrooms, bread etc for breakfast plus a lovely bottle of bubbly. The hosts also provide a BBQ and bikes and nothing was too much trouble so highly recommend and look forward to our next visit. Plus the bed was very comfortable
