Ray, the host, is so friendly and extremely helpful. Ray greeted us upon arrival and provided a huge amount of information before travelling to Salzburg. Ray gave us a comprehensive tour of the house, which is huge and very clean. Our party is 5 people and the property is very spacious for our comfortable stay.

The owner waited for us. Saman is incredible. He not only went from room to room to show us his property, he spent additional time with us to explain how to move around the city, different restaurants, key places to visit, how to get to additional places outside the city. The home was impeccable. We were a group of 3 couples and all felt welcomed.

Salzburg Loft, hotel in Salzburg

Set in Salzburg and only 3.1 km from Hohensalzburg Fortress, Salzburg Loft offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The house is easy to find, the parking is comfortable. It's an extremely modern and updated property and the location is superb. 15 minutes to the airport, 10-20 minutes to destinations in the city center and excellent access to sites outside Salzburg. Once took the bus to the city, very easy. Supermarket is very close. The bedrooms are located on the ground and bellow ground floors, while kitchen and sitting area are upstairs with fantastic mountain views. The kitchen is very well equipped. It was actually one of the first vacation homes we have stayed in and didn't need to buy salt and pepper. There's sugar, coffee, coffee capsules and some tea bags. They even provide laundry and dishwasher pods! One other thing we enjoyed is the showers, with excellent water pressure and never lack of hot water. And let's not forget the Wii in the living room... Lots of fun for our grown up kids... Definitely a place we would be happy to come back to. Important tip: There are 3 private bedrooms with doors. For the 3 couples we were it was OK. The bachelor of the group stayed in the double bed that is surrounded with a curtain. I think for a couple it might feel less private.

Ferienhaus Lenzenbauer, hotel in Salzburg

Set just 8.6 km from Salzburg Central Station, Ferienhaus Lenzenbauer offers accommodation in Salzburg with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as private check-in and check-out.

Very nice landlady, and the setting was beautiful. It was really great to be able to get freshly baked bread (baked by the hosts) on Sunday morning when most shops around were closed. We also loved all their other (organic) homemade produce, including the dried apple chips and the fantastic cider, and big bottles of delicious apple juice. We got a small tour of the place (a small number of pigs, two donkeys, etc) a few days after we arrived. There was a trampoline that our little one could use, and she loved it! Wonderful that the welcome note said it was allowed to pick herbs in the vegetable garden. Lots of calming greenery to sustain the soul on the property, and beautiful traditional-style buildings. Lovely views of the Alps and flower-bordered meadows if you walk a little way up the road, where there are also riding stables (we did not use them). Salzburg is beautiful, of course, and there are lots of lakes to swim in within 25 minutes drive. The Freibad Leopoldskron open air swimming pool (3 pools, lots of grass to sit on, and great water slides) is fantastic (even in the not infrequent rain!) and costs a tiny entrance fee (something like 5 euro for an adult for the whole day in August 2024). You can see the Salzburg castle from one of the pools. I love that Austria makes such facilities available to all, not just the privileged few!

Very cozy and charming building and room. We liked the breakfast (we got our place although we didn't have a reservation). There is a bus station almost in front of the villa. The staff in the main hotel is super friendly.

The room was very clean and was well designed to allow our family of three to enjoy Salzburg without breaking the bank. The kitchen was great for breakfast and some simple meals whilst we also took advantage of the laundry facilities having been hiking in the mountains prior to our stay. Very close to the train station and 20 minutes walking to the town centre or you could catch public transport from right out side the villa.

The location is great: just a few minutes walk to the street that leads to old town but on a quiet street. Villas are very comfortable: enough space, very clean, AC, comfortable bed. The hotel breakfast was very good, with lots of choices, tasty food, and great service.

We liked everything! Such a cozy hotel in several villas in one neighbourhood. Breakfast was amazing, all bio and organic, everything was fresh and tasty! The rooms were enormous, spacious, neat, clean, simply wonderful. We were placed in a villa behind the main building and had a beautiful experience of original Salzburg stay. Every time we stay in this city, this hotel will be our choice!
