The owner was very pleasant and communicative, nothing was a problem. The accommodation was perfect and exceeded our expectations, both in size and comfort. I must also praise the early morning snow cleaning and gritting of the road to the cottage by road maintenance when snow fell at night. I definitely recommend the accommodation, for the price 10/10

Beautifully renovated old farm building near the church in the centre of Matrei. Great views from the kitchen of the mountains. Top quality furniture, comfy bed, lovely bathroom with nice touches like locally made soaps. Well equipped kitchen with nice seating around a big table. Nice seating outside with views of the village and mountains. We were made to feel very welcome!
The host has been really kind and available to any need or requested suggestion. The apartment is quite big, good furniture, and fully equipped kitchen, nice little terrace and parking in front of the access door. There is also a small spa area that should be amazing in winter time, perhaps coming back home after a ski day. By walk from the shops and restaurants of the village. Definitely I'd come back here if I'll decide to discover more the area.
Very nice apartment, spacious and nicely furnished. Super clean. Beautiful balcony with lovely flowers. (Our) Rooms were full of sun in the mornings. Beautiful view. Very nice hosts. Beautifully positioned in a small settlement / village high up on the mountain (yet near to Matrei and easy to reach by car). Nice restaurants near to it -- one just few meters away, and the most wonderful Sturmerhof few kilometers by car.
the staff was extremely kind, they provided a list of local products for all guests to be delivered in the next morning. Even if they didn’t speak fluent english, the smiles and kindness delivered all the information we needed. Breakfast was tasty.

The village is in a special strategic position for outdoor activities and lots of trails.
Clean apartment with comfortable beds and well equiped kitchen. The surroundings are beautiful (small village with fantastic views) and the staff is very friendly.
This is not a 5star hotel in the city, so don't expect that kind of luxury. Luxury here comes from the incredible location, spectacular view and the character of an old traditional house. Konrad and his wonderful wife took such good care of us, our food allergies were all very carefully taken into account and the food was absolutely delicious! This kind of heart-warming hospitality is very rare.
The hostess was extremely friendly and could speak perfect English which was a bonus to ourselves. The village was just to our liking...not for tourists but for the locals. Our stay was wonderful. Our condolences to Gertrude for the loss of her Uncle. Thank you to her Mother for the bread and ham which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Small and nice village with spectacular mountain landscapes! The room was clean and had a balcony and a big bathroom with everything you need. The owner is warm hearted and didn't mind my poor german skills. She made us also tasty breakfast! The location of the accommodation is great, peaceful but still near to center and easy to reach if you travel by bus. Walking distance from the gondola, which takes you to an awesome ski resort. I would definitely recommend this destination as well as the accommodation.
Our rooms was of a great quality. Very clean, tidy and with an absolutely excellent view! Probably one of the best views we ever had from the hotel. More mornings like there are needed! The whole village is like a small alpine paradise.
