The place is located a bit outside of main streets, but the village is pretty small, so it's anyway like 15 min walk to the center and some hiking paths start right from your door.
The location was great. Walking distance to everything in the village. Parking was easy if you have a car; can park on their driveway space or on the gravel road. Bed was comfortable. Host was very attentive and nice. You can tell he wants customers to be comfortable and feel at home. After all, he is a family man.
The location is very good. Staying in El Chaltén is expensive, so La Huella is a fordable option (room with private bathroom). It is not luxurious, but offers you all you need for a couple of months. Comfortable and clean room, warm water and fine heating in the room. Antonio, the owner is a lovely man always willing to help! It’s just 250 m away from the bus station.
Very nice accommodation in the middle of nowhere, walking distance to everything this village has to offer. Very stylish, clean and modern accommodation. I loved that they put the heating on for the night and the free welcome drinks were also a nice touch.

My recent stay in El Chaltén was pleasant overall. The rooms were clean and spacious, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploration. The breakfast offered a nice selection, contributing to a positive start each morning.
Nothing. There’s a bed in the kitchen, a lot of things are not finished in the room (exposed electricity, boiler in the kitchen, open garbage). And the price was the same as the other amazing placed in the village.
