Such a beautiful house, perfect for our four adults, two kids and a dog. We loved the indoor fireplace and the grill outside. We were provided everything we needed to be comfortable and to cook. The water from the tap is fresh spring water and drinkable. You can see the purity as it runs through the river below. The sound of the river just meters from the open loft windows was so peaceful. We had plans to visit Gjirocaster the next day and it was an easy 30 minute trip from the house. Our welcoming host was very quick to communicate. He met us just off the highway and led us to the location, which is a 5 minute drive from the main road. Tepelene is easy to access for groceries. Our kids are already asking if we can return!

The food cooked by Mira's hands was a miracle in taste and serving. The place was a fantastic point to spend beautiful days with nature and everything that the guesthouse offers.The village, set higher up the mountain and 16km from Tepelena, overlooks both te Vjosa and Drinos river valleys. With churches, bridges, and a range of rewarding hikes and day trips, its a great destination.
If you're looking for luxury, you won't find it here, but you will find fantastic breakfasts and dinners, a friendly homely atmosphere and a feeling that nothing is a problem.
The food was great - especially the breakfasts and the homemade cheese from their farm - and the staff were lovely. The view over the mountains is amazing. It was a beautiful peaceful retreat and was very quiet when we were there.

The waterfall is only 20min walk from their house and the views are breathtaking.
This place is an absolute gem. You are in the middle of the mountains, with access to a small village and with all the confronts of home. The people managing the guesthouse are super nice. They provided one of the best meals we had in Albania for a very very fair price. Thank you!

I have been around Albania for some days and my last day I stayed at Bujtina Peshtan. If I knew this place before I would have stayed more. Absolutely a great place. The food is amazing!!! The hosts are very nice and they are certified guides who can make you tours around the village full of history. The room was very clean and comfortable and the view from the house is breathtaking. I can't wait to come back again! This is definitely the best place to stay if you want to visit this area!
