The location and view is superb! The hosts, Shonnie and Michael met us on arrival and helped with our bags. They were superb hosts in every way. The house itself is a masterclass in designing a property for environmentally friendly tropical living. Fully solar powered with water collection and storage it is completely off-grid apart from the excellent internet connection. The design allows free flow of air through the house while keeping out any mozzies that happen to be about, although when we were there, there were hardly any. Very comfortable.
There are some good walking trails up to Shirley Heights and along the cliffs.

It was a really nice villa with lot's of potential. However as other have written you need to hae a 4x4 to get to the villa, otherwise you need to park a little bit down and walk up. The place itself is in big need of a renovation and to be fair the owner is doing it. But there are some areas that need some finising touches, like the fact that the tiles in the shower doesn't cover the whole wall or there are cracks in the wooden patio floor. There is also no AC.

The host Marco was very accommodating and helpful. You can see that he cares about his guests.
The moskito net which is over the bed, helped a lot during the night. The kitchen is equipped well enough to cook decent meals.
Perfect for families, groups or couples who enjoy luxury and independence while travelling. Enjoy the space and privacy of these fully-furnished, self-standing mansions — travellers can cook, lounge and explore at their leisure. Note that in Bali, a resort will also be called a villa.
Upon our arrival, the apartment was clean with frequent housekeeping during dour 11-day stay.. The apartment is comfortable with great wifi and air conditioning. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed to store, cook, and heat up food. The location is serene and peaceful. The property manager Calvin is very friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. Seven years ago, I stayed at Villa Touloulou, and it is wonderful to return and experience another successful stay.
The location was fantastic overlooking English Harbour.
There was a daily cleaning service and someone to greet us at the villa despite our plane being late.
The ice maker stopped working and this was dealt with promptly.
The views and the peaceful location of Villa Touloulou were fantastic - as were the array of birds who'd often join us on the balcony for breakfast, the bananaquits being our favourites.
Location was perfect as we were attending the classic regatta in English harbour. Everything we needed was walking distance. The villa also had great views and plenty of space. The cleaners were very accommodating and did a great job for us.
The view was excellent from our top floor apartment. Helpful and friendly manager made us most welcome. The villa exceeded our expectations. Favourite beach was Pigeon Point. Top meal at Catherine's but a little ££.
The rooms at Villa Touloulou were larger than expected. With ample space to sit out on the patio and relax while eating breakfast. The host was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the area and helped us with all our questions and requests.
Wow! What a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Well done Calvin and your team for creating such a magical holiday hideaway.
I will miss everything about this little retreat including
- great well appointed and tastefully decorated apartment
