The location is brilliant, a 10/15 minute walk to the bus station and close to shops and the start of the trails. I'd suggest only bringing small bags (we left our big ones in El Calafate) as otherwise it might be a bit of a squish. The kitchen is equipped with utensils and coffee, salt and soap so it's perfect to cook in and save some money. There is a little outside area so if there's good weather you could make use of that to have some more space. We only had one small issue during our stay. Sandra resolved this straight away and was contactable throughout our visit. It can get cold in the area in the evenings but there is a heater and lots of blankets. Sandra kept checking in to see whether we had everything we needed, which was very kind. Wifi was great! Sandra also let us store our bags after check out too. I would thoroughly recommend as a great place to stay!

The father who lives next door ensured we had all the firewood we needed and he even brought us some tasty beans and squash from his garden.
